The United States Green Building Council (USGBC) recently honored the Chongli Taizicheng Resort at the Greenbuild China 2019 in Shanghai on 24 October. USGBC honors sustainable design initiatives and celebrates innovative projects that improve the built environment.
The Chongli Taizicheng Resort received Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) for Cities: Plan and Design platinum-level pre-certification, and is expected to be officially certified in 2020. The Chongli Taizicheng Resort became the world's first cultural tourism project pre-certified under LEED for Cities: Plan and Design Platinum.
