Completed in 1959, the Beijing Workers' Stadium is one of the Top Ten Buildings in Beijing. It was the venue for stated events and other major sports. It is also the home ground for Beijing FC for more than 20 years, witnessing the development of the PRC and its culture and sports. The consortium led by Sinobo Group won the public bidding for Beijing Workers’ Stadium Renovation Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Project at the end of 2020. At present, the Project is advancing towards the established goal of completion by the end of the year, aiming to create a national urban renewal model.
